We are looking for a facilitator to co-lead Walk, Talk, Do, Care.'s quarterly booster sessions for adult carers, with activities targeted towards sharing experiences, skills and best practices, in a flexible, supportive setting.

Delivered in collaboration with Roots to Wellbeing and Parndon Mill, Walk, Talk, Do, Care. offers a safe, friendly space to improve your mental and physical wellbeing through nature, creativity and community. It focuses on supporting adult carers to build supportive social communities by providing breathing space in the form of personal wellbeing activities.

We are looking for a facilitator to co-lead our quarterly booster sessions for adult carers, with activities targeted towards sharing experiences, skills and best practices in a flexible, supportive setting. These sessions will also offer signposting to further services that unpaid carers may be unaware of or need support to access. Carers often struggle to make time for themselves, and can feel isolated. Through these booster sessions we hope to cultivate local connection, community and signposting for adult carers in and around Harlow. Fee is based on £18.75 p/hr, for 2 hours of prep and 2 hours of delivery.

Job Requirements

Essential:

Previous facilitation experience

Experience working with unpaid adult carers

Knowledge of the Essex carer's landscape

DBS checked or willing to undergo enhanced DBS check

Desired:

Local to Harlow/Parndon Mill

Experience in the arts or creative facilitation

Job Responsibilities

Co-planning quarterly sessions

Co-Facilitating quarterly sessions

Monitoring attendance

Evaluation - Relaying findings and participant feedback to Matipo Arts each quarter
