The Gallery receives 30% of its funding through a government grant and generates the rest itself. Fundraised income, from corporations, individuals and trusts and foundations is a key element of this self-generated revenue. The Corporate Development team is responsible for securing significant support from companies, for exhibitions, programmes and a number of major projects. The Corporate Development Officer is a vital member of this team and will have the opportunity to support on the growth of the Gallery following its triumphant re-opening in June 2023; and on the servicing of existing sponsors, such as Chanel Culture Fund, Bank of America, Herbert Smith Freehills and Taylor Wessing. Working in a busy and target-driven environment, the post holder will support the team through a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks, including communications with corporate partners and co-ordinating their requests with internal teams, as well as leading on researching prospective supporters. With strong business acumen and proven experience using CRM systems, the post holder will also track supporter outreach through detail-oriented database administration, and liaise closely with the internal teams on client activation by monitoring the usage of supporter benefits.
