Marketing Manager, Dance Base Scotland

Description

Job Summary

The Marketing Manager role will lead on all the marketing communications activity and strategy delivery for the organisation.

Job Description

The Marketing Manager will tell stories of the benefits of Dance Base's work to individuals and organisations who can support us

Full time permanent
£35,900 per annum

The postholder will tell stories of the benefits of Dance Base's work to individuals and organisations who can support us. This will include regular activity to promote public classes, performances and projects, strategic communications to develop relationships with stakeholders and funders, and campaigns to bring in additional funding from individuals and organisations.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a marketer to take a step up and lead the marketing and communications function within a well-established organisation and with a unique package of professional development support.

As the organisation's only specialist marketeer it is certainly a hands-on role, but there is budget to bring in ad-hoc external help, and our team of twelve is very used to rolling their sleeves up to help each other out when needed.

The closing date is Sunday 19 May at 5pm. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 29 & Thursday 30 May.

Research shows how marginalised groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the qualifications. Your might not feel that you 'check all the boxes' in the way that we'd expect. Many of us felt that imposter syndrome or a confidence gap when we applied.

If the job excites you and you think you might be able to do it well, we'd encourage you to apply anyway.

Dance Base welcomes and encourages applications from everyone regardless of their age, sex, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, disability or nationality.

As a Disability Confident Employer, Dance Base guarantees an interview to anyone with a disability who meets the essential criteria for the job.

We are a PiPA (Parents and Carers in Performing Arts) partner.
