FABRIC is seeking an Assistant Producer: Engagement to join our dynamic team.

Working as an active part of the Engagement team, the Assistant Producer will support and collaborate on the production and curation of agreed areas of the organisation's engagement programmes.

We're looking for someone with an inclusive, collaborative, proactive, solution focused approach, and an appreciation of the arts and culture and a desire to widen participation in dance.

Job Requirements

Experience

At least two years' experience of working in an administrative/co-ordination role, ideally in an arts context
Experience of communicating with artists, customers, and/or participants is desirable.

Skills and knowledge

Excellent written and spoken English
Good level of numerical and analytical skills
Awareness of inclusive practices
Good general IT skills.

Able to communicate enthusiastically and clearly with a wide range of people

Job Responsibilities

Be an active member of the producing team, supporting on planning, production, coordination and delivery within agreed programmes and projects.

In collaboration with producing team colleagues, contribute to the research, planning and delivery of programmes that support the development of artists and the art form of dance.

In collaboration with producing team colleagues, contribute to the research, programming, commissioning and producing new work for FABRIC in line with agreed programme objectives.

Co-ordinate and administer programme areas including festivals, platforms, residencies, research projects, touring and other activities.

Undertake project management for programme areas including venue liaison, duty management and staff management, and with the support of senior colleagues, support with preparing draft contracts, with artists, contractors, venues and partners, as required, in line with agreed processes and templates.
