Working directly with the Construction Director to support a busy program you will be a key member in a fast-growing team. This is an ideal development role for someone who is looking to utilise their project management skills and experience, and wants to develop their leadership skills to progress their career into senior management.

In order to succeed in this position, you must be a proactive thinker, organized and have excellent time management skills. In addition, you should display leadership skills to encourage the best from the on-site teams in achieving high-quality results. You will be expected to ensure that project timelines, performance tracking and budgets are maintained and kept to schedule - identifying areas of risk and reporting these back to the senior team.

You will assist in the overall direction, planning, control, delivery and completion of specific projects and tasks. Demonstrating an understanding of client’s requirements and assisting in meetings including taking and producing minutes. You will support tendering and procurement processes across our projects, and you will help build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project programs and weekly reports

  • Monitor project quality and performance on site

  • Manage project administration and assist the Director of Construction as reasonably required.

  • Assist with the estimation and bidding process

  • Assist with ordering and procurement

  • Assist negotiations with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors

  • Assist with capturing variations

  • To reflect and promote the values of the company

  • Profile:

  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience

  • Excellent numeracy, literacy and verbal skills

  • Have a can-do, proactive and positive attitude

  • A strong desire to advance your knowledge, skills and responsibilities 

  • Hold a clean driving license
