The Box Office is the first point of contact for visitors to the venue and is part of artsdepot's Visitor Services Team. This role includes welcoming all visitors, having a good knowledge of what is going on in the building, selling tickets for shows, classes and events, providing information to customers, and acting as the reception for all the departments in the organisation. artsdepot is committed to encouraging diversity and eliminating discrimination. Making sure you have up to date knowledge and information on the shows, classes and events in the building to enable you to answer customer queries and encourage sales. Responding to enquiries via phone, email and at the Box Office counter. Contributing to the administration of the department and making sure records are up to date. Communicating with all departments in the building to ensure important information is passed on. Operating the Box Office counter when a performance or event is on. Supporting the Duty Managers with health and safety procedures, security and fire evacuations. Supporting the Marketing Department as needed.
