Many of the greatest orchestras and artists from the Jazz and Classical world, rely on our cases to protect and safely transport their precious instruments. Wiseman Cases continue to grow and are now seeking two full-time craftspeople to join their Team.

Job description :

Making bespoke hand-made musical instrument Cases. Working with Leather, wood, carbon fibre, velvets, pvc, foams, metal, sewing machines, band/fret-saws.

Who are we looking for?

This job is ideal for anyone who is hard working and who loves making things. It is essential that the candidate is good with their hands and that they possess good self-motivation, enthusiasm and drive and consider themselves to be quick/ well-focused workers who are not easily distracted. Whilst experience or qualifications are not essential, it would be very desirable if the candidate did have previous experience in any area with transferable skills ( carpentry/seamstress/ experienced DIY, mechanics, GCSE/A level/degree in Craft Design Technology/product design etc). Wiseman Cases hope to recruit candidates who will thrive in our environment and who will be able to make their career with us; building increased experience, expertise, responsibility and in return, steadily rising pay.

Salary: the first year is at the National minimum wage for your age. This will then rise appropriate to performance.
