Job Summary

MUTI are working with Trinity Bristol to provide leadership and management / staff development training for two tiers of their staffing team through a Skills Bootcamp programme. We are looking for a freelance tutor to take this work forward in the design of the content & delivery of the two course

Job Description

With a mission to empower communities through arts and make sure everyone has the opportunity to access and shape arts and culture in Bristol, Trinity Centre is a space where people can come together, create, connect, learn, share and celebrate.

Following an internal staffing and organisational review and restructure, Trinity is seeking to capitalise on its existing thriving programme of arts, culture, and community focused programmes as well as its commercial activities and ambitions. In order to do this Trinity has identified 5 'core competency' skills that it wants all staff (including middle-management and support and function roles) to be able to demonstrate across all areas of their work.

Muti has designed a provisional curriculum to address this need that draws on Level 5 and Level 3 occupational standards from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

We are looking for a freelance tutor to take this work forward in the design of the content and delivery of the two courses, which will run from autumn 2024. The two courses will cover many of the same core topics but at different levels to reflect the differing levels of roles and responsibilities of the trainees. The training will be delivered in person at Trinity.

Each course will amount to 60 in-person Guided Learning Hours for the trainees over the course of 12 weeks, starting in October or November (to be negotiated).

The contract and fee will cover design and delivery time including all meetings and development time.
The tutor will work alongside Muti's core team who will provide wraparound / pastoral support and 1:1 coaching for the trainees.

This post is currently pending contract award (expected mid-September).
Duration - September/October 2024 to Feb 2025 (indicative)
Fee - £12k
Deadline to apply - 20th Sept
Interviews w/c 23rd Sept

Start date: w/c 30th September 2024 for course design
