WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The purpose of the role is to work with Touchstones Team to connect local communities with our cultural and creative engagement activities. This includes identifying the gaps and needs of cultural provision in the Borough, ensuring we provide an inclusive and culturally relevant creative programme which is reflective of our diverse communities, developing and maintaining strong relationships with delivery partners within the voluntary and community sector, facilitating creative sessions with artists, and carrying out consultation and evaluation activities with communities.

Job Requirements

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Qualified to Level 3 or equivalent in a culture, health or community field or qualified by experience

Experience of facilitating community sessions and / or consultation to develop an understanding of local need

Experience of leading and running or supporting the delivery of community events

Experience of working collaboratively and in a busy team

Experienced and highly motivated self-starter with ability to motivate communities with resilience, determination and see projects through to completion

Familiar with guidelines for risk assessments, health and safety and safeguarding for vulnerable adults and children

A passion for the local community and for making art, culture and creativity accessible for everyone

An understanding of the voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise sector
