This is a part time 21 hours per week role working three days per week


Ealing Council's arts and culture service is seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic development manager to develop, implement and manage an income generation and fundraising plan for the borough’s festivals & events and cultural offer including driving commercial income from council-owned parks and spaces and attracting a wide range of funding sources.


Ealing Council is creating a number of new roles as part of a restructure of our festivals & events model. This is therefore an exciting time to be part of the visioning and delivery of a relevant, diverse and ambitious new programme.


You will:

  • Manage the externally contracted site management agent, to achieve agreed income targets and other key performance indicators
  • Develop and implement a fundraising plan to include a sustainable funding pipeline and commercial income strategy
  • Develop the Event Strategy aspect of the Council’s new Cultural Renewal Plan, in collaboration with the Arts and Culture Manager and the new Community Events Producer
  • Develop and manage a funding database
  • Develop and manage the team’s communications plan


This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
