Watermans, west London's arts centre is looking to recruit a new member of its Customer Relations team

Customer Relations is at the heart of what we do, welcoming audiences to our shows, film screenings, exhibitions and workshops, from front of house, in our box office, and at our outdoor sites across West London.

Our audiences come from across Hounslow, London, and beyond - and we want our team to reflect that.

We're looking for someone who understands what creating a great customer experience means; who can act as a focal point for all our visitors both at Watermans and elsewhere; who can think on their feet and spot opportunities to help improve customer experience.

You'll be joining a highly regarded Customer Relations team at an exciting time for Watermans.

We have a vacancy for a permanent full-time Customer Relations Representative. The appointee will be required to act additionally as Duty Manager on occasion - this has extra responsibilities and pay.

Job Responsibilities

Ushering and stewarding

Giving excellent customer service, acting as a focal point for all, stewarding the programme of events and keeping customers safe, and to carry out cleaning and light maintenance as required.

Box office

Administering sales transactions and providing information for personal callers, telephone enquiries, and by email. Contribute to the management of the customer database.

Duty manager

Take responsibility for the security of the Watermans site. Represent the management as required. Manage the customer relations team. Cash up and produce daily box office reports and sales reports.
