We are currently managing our major capital transformation of Bristol Beacon to create a world-class concert hall for the region and have been part of Bristol’s cultural heritage for 150 years. Our vision is to unite people through the joy of live music, and we achieve this through a diverse programme of inspirational musical experiences.
As we move towards reopening in autumn 2023 our Facilities Manager will have a crucial role in our countdown towards this. You will have wide ranging buildings management experience and the ability to understand the complexities of our new state of the art spaces, as well as our existing foyer space and Beacon Music Centre, the home of our Music Education Hub and Community work. The role will lead the facilities team who are responsible for contracted services, including IT, looking after our buildings planned and reactive maintenance, Health and Safety, high-quality housekeeping, environmental sustainability and efficiency requirements to achieve high buildings performance standards.
You will be able to take a strategic view of our buildings future and have an understanding of the aims of our final phase of building transformation as well as being able to visualise the actions needed for our future buildings and operational strategy.
This is a very exciting time to join us and be part of our team as we move through these final transformation stages.
We are committed to diversity, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community, We particularly encourage applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
Closing date for applications: 9am on Thursday 13 October 2022
