Job Description

Currently most of the finance function is outsourced and the desire is to bring it back in-house.This role is ideal for someone who wants to be in a fun and creative business that continues to grow.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will:
Be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified. Alternatively, part qualified with the experience to match.
Have hands-on experience in a similar role within an SME environment.
Be confident, outgoing and be able to communicate at all levels.
Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Have advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Xero would be desirable

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate with have significant accounting experience and responsibilities include:

Development and management of the annual budget
Liaising with the chartered accountants to produce statutory accounts and corporate tax returns
Production of Management Accounts including monthly performance and variance analyses:
o Cash flow management and reporting
o VAT returns
Management of the Finance Department including Purchase, Sales and Nominal Ledger
Monthly payroll preparation
