The Florence Nightingale Museum is seeking to recruit a part-time actor-facilitator, on an initial six month contract, to support the museum’s popular ‘Meet Miss Nightingale’ performances, playing Florence Nightingale. Working with audiences of all ages and abilities, the successful applicant will perform at the museum, in schools and community spaces, and online. In addition to performing, the individual will also support the wider operation of the museum and work with the Learning Manager to create new content and engagement opportunities.
Experience working with schools and community groups would be an advantage, as would working in a museum or visitor attraction. It is essential that the post-holder has a flexible approach, can learn scripts and supporting information quickly, and recognises the part they can play in this varied role within our small but very successful team.
Application is by CV, including a covering letter and photograph or show-reel. Applications close on 14 August 2022 and should be sent via email to email@example.com
Audition interviews will take place on 23 August 2022. Candidates will need to be available throughout the day.
