RicNic is an innovative theatre charity who deliver a range of theatre-based projects for children and young people throughout the year. Our projects explore the broad scope of roles and skills needed to stage a theatre production - from performance to direction, technical design, marketing and event management. We provide opportunities for young people to unlock and explore their creative potential, working with creative arts and non-arts students across our projects. We are equally interested in providing valuable arts engagement for those looking to pursue a creative career as we are in demonstrating the impact that involvement in creative activity can have on developing confidence, self-identity and key skills. RicNic is committed to offering creative experiences to young people in areas where there is limited opportunity to engage with the arts.
We are currently developing our schools and community programme and are looking to recruit a small pool of facilitators who will be able to deliver our sessions in at least one of the areas listed below. Full training on our workshop content will be provided. Workshop sessions will be offered on a casual basis intitially, with a view to extending over time.
We currently work in or are developing projects in
South East (Oxfordshire / Hampshire)
West Midlands / Staffordshire
We are keen to hear from facilitators with varied experience of different aspects of theatre, who would be interested in joining our core facilitator pool on a casual basis and working with us as we grow this area of our work.
