ELMG is looking for a successful fundraiser to raise money for upcoming projects and core funding. This will involve working on grant applications and proposals, as well as giving advice on project funding and planning. The position will involve two initial days’ work to go through objectives and assess funding priorities, then one day per month. There is the potential for more days in the future depending on how many applications are to be written. The position will be be subject to regular review in order to assess work and feed back.
ELMG has recently upscaled it’s activities, with a busy year of events including a performance at Rich Mix in Tower Hamlets premiering two new commissions, the premiere of three new pieces involving the Magnetic Resonator Piano at Deal Festival of Music and the Arts, and a side-by-side project with Queen Mary University Orchestra.
The ideal candidate will be required to assist in the fundraising of our ambitious upcoming programme of events, including the continuation of our partnership with Edinburgh Primary School, a joint performance with CoMA London Ensemble, and a large-scale massed ensemble project in 2023 involving a number of local community organisations.
Depending on circumstances and subject to skills we may also ask the successful applicant to help with project planning and producing in the future, which would involve extra days’ work.
