Description

Job Description

I'm seeking a skilled graduate Design Assistant with skills in CAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to contribute to projects in various creative sectors throughout 2024. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning theatre, retail, and events. If you thrive on collaborating closely to bring innovative design concepts to life, and enjoy the idea of creating experimental ideas, then I definitely want to hear from you! Collaborations in 2023 included projects with Transport For London, Blenheim Palace, Westfield London & Covent Garden.

Location:
The studio is conveniently situated close to Earls Court and West Brompton tube stations, providing easy access to public transportation options. Additionally, the position allows for remote work when necessary, providing flexibility and convenience. It would be ideal for the assistant to be based in London.

Accessibility:
The studio is Neurodiverse led, and I would equally love to hear from those who also identify as Neurodiverse. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive working environment for all.

Pay & Hours:

Pay will be in line with Scenechange rates for a graduate design assistant. The position will be as required to begin with, with flexible hours to accommodate both studio and remote work as necessary, allowing you to also work on your own projects. The aim is for the position to become more permanent as the collaboration progresses.

  • Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in creating visualisations is preferred.
  • An interest in lighting elements is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and assembling pitch documents as required.
