The Head of Philanthropy (maternity cover) will have a particular focus on delivering strategy, leading the Hall's capital appeal, increasing major donor fundraising and managing an engaged and active fundraising team. They will work closely with current and prospective donors, senior stakeholders such as the Board of Trustees, and other Hall teams including Marketing and Communications, Programming, Engagement, Hospitality and Partnerships and Front of House. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and capability of successfully leading Philanthropy teams and securing major (five to six-figure+) donations for charities. They will also have exceptional pitching and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and persuade at the highest level, and an understanding of the commercial environment. Please note that due to operational and rostering limitations, the Hall is not able to accommodate any new arrangements for holding more than one position.
