Details: The Creative Department is seeking a Jewellery Tutor to teach a Jewellery Making & Silverwork course in January 2025 for 6 weeks. We are seeking someone who is suitably qualified in Jewellery making and Silversmith techniques, who can develop the learning skills and experiences of our learners, in a professional and fun way! You will guide the learners through their practical projects, enabling them to demonstrate soldering, filing, forming, finishing and polishing. These projects should involve the design and making of finished items of jewellery. Leaners should also have the opportunity to explore stone setting, etching, press forming, roller printing, forging, anticlastic raising and design. At the end of their course, the learners are encouraged to show / exhibit their work. L3 or above in a Jewellery making related qualification. Minimum L3 Teaching qualification, though will consider those without one, as long as an agreement to complete one with the college is undertaken. Professional / industry experience is desirable.
