We are very excited to be working with CRATE St James Street to pilot Kickstart Creative Film Ventures - a self-directed development programmes for a cohort of young film creatives to pursue careers in directing, acting, writing and more, and we’re looking for an assistant to help facilitate the 6-month development programme for the participants.
You’ll be working closely with the programme leader to oversee mentorship, advice and business sessions, industry engagement, feedback, reporting, and general administrative running of the programme.
While the programme is an opportunity for film creatives to assert themselves in their industry, we want this to be an opportunity for you to assert yourself in programming and business development and be creative in your own approach to learning and project management. Would you like to help coordinate film projects or support local photography exhibitions? Do you want to think up your own approaches to developing your PR, outreach and community engagement skills? Do you have your own ideas of what you’d like to learn in the placement and ways to use this platform to achieve these goals? We want to hear your ideas!
This is a Kickstart scheme so all participants must be eligible and referred to the programme by their work coach with the reference LittleWing 56.
This role is primarily remote but some travel to London will be necessary.
The role is part-time, 3 days a week paid National Minim Wage (or National Living Wave depending on your age).
