Job Summary

CTA Performing Arts seeks an experienced LAMDA teacher for a part-time role on Wednesdays. Responsibilities include teaching LAMDA classes, entering students for exams and drama festivals, and the potential to grow into Head of Drama.

Job Description

You will love working with children aged 5-13, guiding each child on their journey to reach their full potential. We are looking for a creative, motivated, and inspiring teacher who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, both with clients and students.

In addition to LAMDA classes, our drama students participate in the National Theatre Connections festival, and for the right candidate, there is an opportunity to take over our drama theatre company in September 2026. Our LAMDA drama students also take part in our annual summer show at Hampton Hill Theatre in May.

*Our Ideal Candidate*
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Drama Teacher and director, familiar with LAMDA exams and the process of entering students into these assessments. If you are a skilled drama teacher, we will provide training in the LAMDA syllabus.

There is also the potential to grow into the role of Head of Drama for the right candidate, allowing you to shape and lead our drama programme.

Pay will be £30+ per hour, depending on experience. This role commences in January 2026. Wednesdays 4.45pm-7.30pm.

If this sounds like a great fit and you know you can excel in this role, we would love to hear from you. Please send your CV along with a covering letter to [email protected].
