Description
This role blends creative workshop delivery with training & quality assurance. Leading engaging drama-based sessions in schools & community settings while mentoring our UK-wide team of facilitators. Contract: Part-time, Term-Time Only (3 days per week 09.00 – 17.00), £18,600.00 → £20,6000.
Workshop Delivery
- Facilitate dynamic drama-based workshops across primary, secondary, SEN, and community settings.
- Adapt content for diverse audiences, ensuring inclusivity.
- Occasionally step in at short notice to cover sessions.
Training & Mentorship
- Recruit Arts Facilitators across the UK as required and provide ongoing training and support.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions subject to need.
- Maintain and develop the Training Hive portal with up-to-date resources.
- Provide ongoing mentoring and ad hoc support via WhatsApp, email & in person.
- Develop training materials to enhance facilitator skills.
- Implement inclusive practice and SEND strategies across training and delivery.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct observations of facilitators, offering constructive feedback.
- Review teacher feedback forms, identify patterns, and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with senior management to maintain programme excellence.
Content & Marketing Support
- Capture photos, videos, and interviews during school visits for marketing purposes (with permissions).
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Training, Quality & Safeguarding Manager, Lead facilitator in Northwest and wider Bonanza Creative team.
- Contribute to programme development and implementation.
Flexibility & Travel
- Based in the West Midlands, this role requires UK-wide travel to conduct observations & training with Arts Facilitators, which may include overnight stays.
- Within any given month (typically 12 working days), the role will involve a combination of office-based days, in-school session delivery, and observation and training days across the West Midlands and UK.
- Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car for travel.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in arts and drama facilitation, with experience in educational settings including primary and secondary schools, as well as community environments.
- Proven experience in training and mentoring individuals or teams to develop skills and achieve objectives.
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT proficiency (Word, Excel, OneDrive); willingness to learn WordPress (training provided).
- Creative, adaptable, and committed to inclusive practice.
