Harrogate Theatre are recruiting for a part time Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Team to effectively deliver marketing, communications and audience development activity.
- Co-ordinating marketing material from visiting companies for inclusion in the season brochures.
- Proof-reading website entries and marketing materials from visiting companies.
- Administering guest invites for press and fundraising events.
- Assisting with the smooth running of press and guest nights.
- Sending press releases to local and national reviewers.
- Researching and contacting, both by email and in person, target groups and organisations to meet audience development goals.
- Booking tickets for members as necessary.
- Delivering marketing collateral to business partners and contacts around Harrogate.
- Creating and sending communications using email marketing software.
- Ensuring that venue digital and print displays are up to date.
- Collating and/or monitoring press cuttings and media coverage.
- Uploading show information onto local what's on websites inc. Visit Harrogate and Your Harrogate.
- Be a Membership advocate through maintaining the membership database and sending personalised thank you letters.
- Researching high net worth individuals and generating a database of donors.
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent.
- Competent with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- An interest in the arts.
- Written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and independently.
- Well organised with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Able to use initiative and problem-solve.
- A positive 'can do' attitude with a desire to learn.
- Availability and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to fulfil requirements of the role.
This role is 3 days (22.5 hours) per week.
Salary: £22,308 pro rata.
