You will have proven experience in delivering marketing and communications strategies and leading on campaigns that deepen engagement or unlock investment to a great cause. You'll have a solid understanding of digital marketing through a range of social media platforms and know how to get the most out of an online presence to boost visibility and engagement. You'll have a good eye for detail, be financially literate, and be brilliant at building and maintaining relationships at all levels. A creative self-starter with a passion for delivery and teamwork, this role is perfect for someone who wants to make their mark and champion Culture, Festivals and Events, and Tourism in Southampton.

Job Requirements

Developing and implementing marketing and communications plans, writing a variety of collateral. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (with experience of copy writing), with the ability to tailor messaging and content to a diverse range of audiences.

Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, donors, corporates, local communities, and influencers. Experience of managing staff and team development.

Experience of delivering campaigns with a significant digital content. Experience of digital marketing, including use of scheduling tools, developing website content and effective management of a wide range of social media platforms.

Experience of using audience segmentation to build effective approaches to engagement. Financial literacy and the ability to manage budgets in accordance with financial policy and requirements

Job Responsibilities

To be responsible for all internal and external communications, marketing activities and outreach for the Trust. To work with the Commercial and Marketing Director and CEO of the Southampton Culture Trust in supporting the development and implementation of a high impact Brand and Marcomms Strategy. To build good relationships with colleagues, agencies, suppliers, supporters, and communities to collaboratively develop and deliver the Southampton Culture Trust Marketing and Communications campaigns, projects, and strategies.

To work collaboratively with the Fundraising and Development Manager and team in increasing engagement and investment in the Trust's activities in Culture, Festivals and Events and Tourism. To nurture an equity of access for audiences and participants to the Trust's activities by developing appropriate and accessible marketing campaigns, communications and promotion of activities and events.
