Job Description
The Membership Manager is responsible for implementing a membership recruitment and retention strategy and will plan and manage all communication to members; conceptualising and delivering membership campaigns; and establishing and reporting on metrics around the membership journey/cycle, member engagement, membership numbers and income. This will be coordinated via our CRM system and these efforts will be complementary to other aspects of our work involving members, such as event attendance, journal subscriptions and fundraising.Job Requirements
Candidates should have three to five years of similar experience, gained ideally in the arts, education or charity sectors. They should be able review our member journey/engagement cycle and activity plan, and then implement an engaging, effective membership marketing campaign using the full spectrum of the marketing mix, particularly digital. The ability to effectively use CRM systems and manage data is essential. Experience of all aspects of managing a membership scheme is required, and demonstrable success increasing membership engagement, subscriptions, loyalty and income is desirable. Candidates will be able to analyse campaign data to inform recruitment and retention efforts and optimise campaign effectiveness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required as is the capacity to work independently as the dedicated membership professional within a small team.Job Responsibilities
