Job Summary

We are looking for a Occupational Health Treatment Nurse to join our Occupational Health Department at the National Theatre.

Job Description

The Occupation Health Unit (OHU) is dynamic and holistic team, responding with care and speed to the needs of both staff and production companies (in-house and off-site). As part of the People department, the OHU collaborates on ensuring physical and mental wellbeing is addressed and supported accordingly.

Working with our actors, musicians, technical and other staff, you will play an integral part in supporting the work on stage and maintaining the health and well-being of this busy and complex organisation.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in minor injuries and treatments (e.g. A & E and/or Nurse Practitioner experience).
  • Knowledge of ENT and musculoskeletal problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and sympathetically, verbally and in writing, with artists, staff, and members of the public however difficult the circumstances.
  • Experience of working independently in a similar role.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be an active problem-solver.
