Active Training Team, the pioneering immersive training company, is creating a new role to manage the software systems which support our business.

Job Description

If you are excellent with web-based project management software (you absolutely DON'T need to be a programmer!) and thrive in a stand-alone support role, then you could be the right person for us.

Active Training Team use dramatic, immersive experiences to offer training to the construction, transport, and energy sectors, Our unique, award-winning programmes give people a clear understanding of their role in safety at work and the communication tools to make a difference. Our work involves a large amount of planning, scheduling, and project management. We use systems including Artifax, StaffSavvy, Dropbox, Slack and Office.

Essential

  • Solutions orientated; with ability to call out errors and suggest improvement opportunities

Desirable

  • Industry experience (events / venue management / creative arts / training)
  • Understanding of managing freelance or contract workers

Job Responsibilities

Offering a confident support service to all core staff for:

  • our event software
  • our resource management software
  • our day to day, essential IT and connectivity concerns (in collaboration with our IT support consultant)

Offering a confident support / training service to our freelance cohort in using the bookings system

Training others in system utilisation - from face-to-face sessions to compiling FAQ's and instruction manuals

Reviewing and planning future improvement in our IT provision, as we grow (in collaboration with our IT support consultant)
