Job Description

  • Are you interested in art and/or photography?

  • Do you identify as working class or come from a working-class background?

  • Would you be interested in participating in a project where people come together to enjoy good food and get creative?

If yes, we'd love to hear from you and invite you to work with Two Temple Place on our next exhibition, Lives Less Ordinary, exploring working-class lives and people within art.

We are looking to establish a group of 10-15 individuals who identify as working-class, of any age, gender, race or background, to have a meal with us every fortnight and take part in workshops exploring this subject.

There will be opportunities to share personal reflections and produce creative content for display alongside the exhibition, which will run until April 2025.

No previous experience in art or photography needed.

All participants will be compensated for their time with the following:

  • A delicious and healthy dinner at every workshop

  • A remuneration fee of £240 paid by bank transfer or vouchers

Please read our information sheet below for a full list of all benefits, more information about the project and how to apply.

Please note: you will be required for 6 evening workshops, lasting roughly 2 hours. You will be paid £40 for each workshop you attend.

This project is open, inclusive, and sensitive to your unique perspective. If you are interested in applying but have any additional needs or barriers that could stop you from committing, please get in touch with us as we would love to discuss how we might be able to help with these.
