This position is for a Support Worker / PA who will support Aisling Gallagher, one of the part-time Creative Directors, with a variety of organisational and support needs.
About our Creative Directors:
This position supports Aisling Gallagher, one of the part-time Creative Directors among the three working for Queens Theatre Hornchurch. The two part-time Directors generally alternate, working 2-3 days per week, while the third Director is in a full-time role.
The Directors work together as part of a new Senior Leadership Team, across programming, creative producing, partnership building and in areas of expertise including creative responses to co-creation, local narratives, environmental responsibility, talent, access and digital.
Duties will include:
- Providing Email and Calendar Management Support
- Assisting with workload management, including creating and managing systems
- Capturing meeting notes for both online and in-person meetings
- Completing miscellaneous tasks and errands to assist in managing Creative Directors' energy levels
- Providing support for events, rehearsals, and research and development processes, including occasional evening and weekend commitments
- Occasionally making telephone calls on behalf of Creative Director
- Advocating for meeting access needs of the Creative Director when required
- Occasional deputising opportunity to support the Creative Director's Job-Share Partner, with mutual agreement

Person Specification
Essential:
- Robust understanding of and dedication to the Social Model of Disability
- Previous experience in a supportive role for senior leaders within an organisation, regardless of industry (Theatre experience not mandatory)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in IT Skills across various platforms, such as Microsoft 365, Google Drive, Calendly, and Dropbox
- Proven experience in effectively managing a demanding calendar
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and administering organisational systems
- Proactive and self-motivated, capable of independent work
- Adept at prioritising tasks and thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
- Comprehension of the challenges associated with senior roles in an organisation
- Familiarity with Access to Work processes
