Jason Bruges is Creative Director of Jason Bruges Studio, which he founded in April 2002. He leads a pioneering team of architects, designers, creative technologists, programmers, computational designers and engineers to design and build ground-breaking installations across the world. The design studio and in-house workshop is based in London Fields, East London.

JOB OVERVIEW

The role of Personal Assistant is a key position in the development of the studio and the successful candidate must be able to create strong relationships and coordinate a broad list of tasks efficiently. This person will provide high quality personal assistance to the Creative Director, as well as supporting the Studio Manager in keeping the studio running smoothly. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the hectic inbox and ever-changing diary of the Creative Director

Assisting with the management of the company email account

Drafting response correspondence and proof reading

Assist with the preparation of the Creative Directors presentations

Book travel, manage travel itineraries, and arrange visas where necessary

Manage a complex diary to accommodate both new business and existing project reviews, as well as freeing up time

Follow up with clients on new business opportunities and file emails and leads within Pipedrive under the direction of the Business Development Manager

Organise and attend CPDs and new business meetings with the Creative Director & Business Development Manager, minute taking and following up afterwards where required

Updating CV’s, biographies, studio profile

Help in running the studio, this could include but is not limited to ordering office & kitchen supplies, collecting and distributing post, setting up for meetings, organising studio events and acknowledging birthdays

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

3-4 years previous experience as a Personal Assistant

Experience within a busy working creative environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detailed focused with excellent organisational skills, multi-tasking and attention to detail

Ability to be flexible whilst keeping a positive and can-do attitude

Mac/PC, MS Office, Mail

PREFERRED SKILLS (but not essential)

InDesign, Keynote, PhotoShop, Pipedrive (or similar customer relations management tool)

Interest in and awareness of the creative arts industry
