Process Manager (Arts and Events), Dartington Hall Trust

The process manager role is a new opportunity and sits within our Arts and Events team.  We need someone to firstly audit the way we are doing things now, and then find ways of optimising all of our processes and systems so we can deliver our best work.

The successful candidate will ideally have significant experience working with processes and systems within an arts, events, or learning background, and a keen interest in the arts. Part of the role will involve being a systems ‘Superuser’ for Spektrix, and overseeing the use of Artifax across the Arts, Short Courses and Learning programmes. The right candidate doesn’t need to have previous experience of these specific systems, but would be someone who will pick them up quickly, and knowledge of similar event and space management systems, and CRM experience, will be vital, as will a generally high level of ICT skills and excellent attention to detail.

This is a really exciting time to be joining the team at Dartington as we are expanding our arts offer to include more festivals and events during the year, and our short courses programme is developing a wider offer including performing arts, crafts, ecology, writing and wine. We want to appoint someone who will help us put in place really robust processes to support the smooth delivery of these courses and festivals, as well as working closely with our well established Music Summer School and Festival and Barn Cinema programmes.

As with most jobs in the arts this role will involve occasional evening and weekend work around events. This last year has taught us all that we need to be able to be flexible, agile and adaptable to change, and we are looking for someone who is a team player, who enjoys a challenge, and wants to be part of our dedicated department as we develop our programme. If you would like to have an informal chat about the position please contact Emily Hoare, Creative Director on

Closing date: Thursday 24th June 2021.
