Buglight Theatre are looking for a Production Manager to support their touring children's theatre piece, GLOW. The work educates children about mental health, following the story of a glow worm that has lost her glow.

Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-orientated person to work closely with the Producer and Artistic Director to manage the pilot tour of Buglight Theatre's latest children's theatre piece, GLOW. This is a key role in the production team, involving liaising with the tour venues, signing off on the health and safety of the production, & safely coordinating the transport of set and props, amongst other things.

About Glow

Glow is a charming, interactive, family show about mental health, wellbeing and friendship tailored to ages 3 - 7. We scuttle into the Underglade on the evening of the annual Bug Fest, where beetles, grasshoppers, and Lil' Bugs alike gather with ant-icipation to celebrate and delight in the story of Gwen, the Glow Worm who lost her Glow. On a multi-sensory adventure, Gwen and her bug-besties try to 'fix' her glow, but actually learn that when we're in the darkest of places, it's our friends that can help turn on the lights. The show has integrated access for visually impaired audiences and bugtastic wellness workshop offering.

Purpose of the Role

To support the Producer and Artistic Director in delivering the pilot tour of GLOW, focussing on the logistics of the production.
