The Royal Academy of Arts is looking to recruit three Production Managers to be part of our forthcoming Marina Abramovi exhibition. The role of Production Manager is key to the delivery of the live performance element of the exhibition. Marina Abramovi has earned worldwide acclaim as a pioneering performance artist. This Autumn, the Royal Academy is excited to present her first major retrospective exhibition in the UK, arranged in close collaboration with the artist. Alongside sculptures, video, installations and photographs, live reperformances of four seminal artworks will play a key role in the exhibition. These will be reperformed by the next generation of re-performers, cast and trained by the Marina Abramovi Institute. About the Role The Production Manger will have overall responsibility of the re-performers whilst they are involved in the exhibition, including ensuring that the re-performances run smoothly and to schedule. You will also be responsible for the scheduling of the re-performers rotas. You will be the first point of contact for all re-performers, be responsible for processing their payment invoices, provide relevant information to the re-performers, give practical support, and signposting to mental and physical well-being resources. Alongside this, you will be custodians of the Green Room, ensuring it is maintained and fresh and be responsible for the props and clothing needed for the performances. About You To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience of setting up and managing performance schedules along with experience working in a 'performance based' environment, managing performance artists. You will have the ability to form safe bonds with re-performers and be able to work calm under pressure. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to working and be highly organised and considered. An awareness of Marina Abramovi 's work is also valuable to this position.Job Summary
