Sparks is a leading and quickly-growing provider of children's film and media activities. Our unique programmes for ages 5-18 help children to discover and develop their talents, grow in confidence and thrive creatively. Founded in 2010, we are now entering a new phase of growth including a national expansion plan. As we plan ahead for the future, we are seeking a Programmes Manager to oversee and deliver weekly classes and school holiday programmes, from our locations in Hampstead.
This role will be instrumental to our growth and we're seeking passionate, reliable people with can-do attitudes and a genuine interest in supporting creative development in young people. The roles are part time, flexible and will involve 2 days per week, with some Saturday working likely during term time. We're open to job-sharing and will happily accommodate flexible working patterns to support work-life balance.
Reporting to Company Directors Salary: £28000 PA pro rata

Managing programme memberships and recruitment of new members
Identifying potential marketing partners
Developing partnership relationships and implementing effective campaigns, especially offline
Promoting the programme offer locally through events Reporting on progress and results.
Overseeing smooth delivery of workshops at designated locations (1-2 locations per manager), ensuring that programme outcomes and objectives are met
Managing and supporting a team of workshop instructors
Managing relationships with venue partners
Overseeing customer service and communications
At least 3 years’ experience in arts education or children's activities or reasonable equivalent experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a management role, or with management level responsibilities
Good prioritisation skills
Experience of managing small teams, including contractors/freelancers
Good attention to detail
Self-motivated and enterprising
Genuine interest in child development and creativity
Desirable Experience managing budgets
Knowledge of the local areas, including schools and local community connections
Understanding of filmmaking/animation/digital media
