Description
We are looking for a Programming Assistant to join our Public Programming Department on a permanent full-time basis. This is an administrative role which is an ideal starting point into the world of Arts Programming at Southbank Centre.
The Public Programming Assistant works within the team to support three Participation Producers, two Participation Coordinators and the Head of Public Programming.
Role objectives:
- Support the Head of Public Programming, wider Public Programming Team and external stakeholders providing efficient and proactive administrative support and assistance.
- To offer the public, artists and potential participants in Southbank Centre activity a well-informed point of contact, providing information and help as requested.
- To be part of a team which is positive, energetic, creative and mutually supportive.
- Bring a passion and interest for public space live arts and participation, with a particular focus on artists and communities under represented in the arts.
- To on occasion support the delivery of live events and projects in Southbank Centre's venues and public spaces
