Are you passionate about culture-led regeneration in the local community?
As the Project Coordinator for the Gosport Cultural Programme you will represent HCT as the Lead Partner for the Gosport Cultural Consortium, working closely with a core group of stakeholders to realise a three-year programme of arts, cultural and heritage programmes in the community.
You’ll be helping us to develop, deliver and evaluate a new annual community grants programme; plan and deliver a community festival; create new earning opportunities through arts, culture and heritage; and engage the community in priority projects for the broader High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) in Gosport.
These initiatives are funded by Historic England and are designed to breathe new life into high streets that are rich in heritage and full of promise - unlocking their potential and making them more attractive to residents, businesses, tourists and investors.
A bit about you
A passion for arts, culture and heritage and a good understanding of how to engage effectively with communities is essential. You’ll enjoy working independently, but when the situation calls for it, your clear and friendly communication skills will develop and maintain great relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You’ll be comfortable taking the lead on planning and delivering projects, and it goes without saying that you’ll be a whizz at IT, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
