Kettle's Yard is looking for an experienced and passionate individual for the role of Senior Curator, House & Collection. The House and permanent collection are the heart of Kettle's Yard, founded by Jim and Helen Ede. The Senior Curator will lead on the care and conservation of the House, collection and archive, taking particular responsibility to lead the museum accreditation process as well as ensuring an enriching and inspiring experience for all who visit and engage with the collections in person or through other means. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of managing and working with 20th Century British Art in an accredited collection. With a commitment to continual enquiry and an openness to new ideas and perspectives, the post holder will also be an engaging speaker and writer on art who would enjoy working as part of a team to develop original initiatives to reach diverse audiences. The Senior Curator, House & Collection is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will play a key role in delivering Kettle's Yard's vision and ambitions leading up to the 70th Anniversary in 2027. The Senior Curator will instigate, enable and support research, teaching and learning: engaging and inspiring students, children and young people, communities and visitors through a dynamic programme of house and collection related activities, resources and publications.Job Summary
