Stage2 Youth Theatre are looking for an experience and dynamic practitioner to relaunch our Stage1 Workshops.

Stage2 is Birmingham’s longest-running youth theatre, with a 34 year history of high-quality experiences and opportunities for young people. We are the only youth theatre in the West Midlands to offer a Subsidy Fund, making us a truly open-access Arts organisation.

Stage1 is a dynamic and engaging theatre group for children seeking fun performance and drama opportunities . Following Covid, we are keen to relaunch it for Autumn Term, 2022.  The group is for children aged 7-10 and takes place on Sundays during Term Time at Queensbridge School, from 9.30am-1pm. 

The Stage1 Practitioner needs to be available from 1-5.30pm every Sunday throughout the Autumn Term: 18th September – 11th December 2022 (with 30th October off for Half Term). Contracts run on a termly basis and the successful candidate will ideally commit to several terms in a row.

The salary for the term is £720, half to be paid at the start of the term and the other half to be paid upon the completion of all sessions.
