Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in picture framing, with a solid understanding of framing techniques and materials.
  • Previous managerial experience, demonstrating excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring each framed piece meets our high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • A creative flair, with a passion for art and a keen eye for design.
  • Proficiency in using framing tools and equipment, as well as computer skills for managing orders and inventory.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging framing projects.
  • Knowledge of art preservation and conservation techniques is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of day-to-day studio operations, including quality control, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with artists, photographers, and clients to understand their framing needs and offer expert advice on suitable materials and designs.
  • In collaboration with the Workshop manager, schedule and prioritize framing projects to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Ensure the studio remains organized, tidy, and equipped with the necessary tools and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, continuously improving framing techniques and expanding the studio's offerings.
  • Handle client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Manage the studio's budget and financial records, working closely with the management team to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the studio's services and attract new customers.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocol
