Video Editor, Anna Mason Art

We're looking for a freelance Video Editor to join our small team. We run an online art school with a growing global community. Our business has seen rapid growth in recent years and we're now seeking to invest in increasing our video output.

You'll work with our Video Producer in post-production, using your creative skills to edit quality educational videos and clips for social media. In time, there may be opportunities to become involved in filming and video production.

You'll need demonstrable video editing experience and to be proficient in using Adobe Premiere Pro. You’ll also need experience using After Effects and Photoshop and have a good eye for detail.

This long-term opportunity would suit a freelance video editor, or somebody working to progress their video editing career.

We pay £20/hour. In the first month, your freelance contract would be for 20 hours a month. This will increase incrementally over 6 months, by which time we anticipate you'd work 50 hours+ each month.

As a freelancer, you'll be home-based, and have your own equipment. Occasionally you'll need to travel, so ideally you'll be within an hour of Portsmouth.

You'll need to be:

-Proficient in using Adobe Premiere Pro
-Experienced with at least basic skills in After Effects and Photoshop
-A freelancer with your own equipment and Adobe CC license
-Good with time management
-Willing to travel within a reasonable distance occasionally (mileage would be reimbursed)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

-At least 3 years' experience in post-production
-Experience with creating 'how-to' style videos
-Experience creating videos for social media
-Deeper knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop
-Experience using Adobe Audition
-BTEC/A-Level or equivalent in a related subject
-A keen interest in all areas of production (pre-production, production, post-production)
-Knowledge of the filming process
-Knowledge/interest in DaVinci Resolve
-Colour grading knowledge
-An interest in art and learning
-Your own transport

Please apply to by May 12th with your CV, cover letter, examples of previous work and showreel (if you have one).
