Videographer for R&D of climate show, ShyBairn Theatre


ShyBairn are a multi-award winning theatre company, devising live performance for social change.

We collaborate with artists and communities to make theatre that elevates issues concerning contemporary Britain. We champion artists from lower-socio economic backgrounds, led by a team of female and non-binary creatives.

We are looking for a videographer to document an R&D of ShyBairn’s new show ‘Burnout’, a play about class, race and the climate movement supported by Arts Council England and Live Theatre. 

Pay: £800, paid at £100 per day for 8 days

Key Dates: 3rd - 14th May 2021 and 17th - 21st May 2021 (R&D at Live Theatre and editing timeframe)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne


  • Experienced in creating theatre show trailers

  • Experienced in live performance photography

  • Based in the North East (Able to commute to Live Theatre)


  • Interest in climate justice and activism

  • Interest in working in a theatre context
