Production Manager, VAULT Festival


VAULT Festival is looking for an ambitious, organised, and detail-oriented Production Manager to run a positive, smooth, and professional production department for VAULT Festival 2023. 

The Production Manager will work to plan, coordinate, and action the designs and infrastructure of the performance, public, and BOH spaces within VAULT Festival as well as the running of the performance spaces and production elements of the festival.

Working closely with Lighting & Video Designer, Sound Designer, Operations Manager, and Art Director, the Production Manager will plan and deliver the get in and get out of the festival and the physical & technical infrastructure of all spaces. The Production Manager will be responsible for the plans and delivery of the performance venues, alongside the Lighting & Video Designer and Sound Designer.

The Production Manager will liaise with Artists in advance of the festival, especially those with more complex requirements, and will work with the Head of Stage to ensure the smooth, efficient, and professional running of the performance spaces during the festival. They will advise the Head of Programming (and Programming Team) on the suitability of productions to venues and devise ways to make the artistic programme deliverable.
 The Production Manager will maintain administrative systems and procedures that the Production Coordinator and Deputy Production Manager will help deliver to maintain the production department’s compliance, efficiency, and professional standards.

The Production Manager will be responsible for the safety of the festival infrastructure and accompanying paperwork.

FEE: £13,292.64 (dependent on n/a’s and agreed dates)
This is a fixed term, freelance, buyout agreement, inclusive of 11.63 days of paid leave entitlement (dependent on n/a’s and agreed dates).
