Venue Stage Manager, VAULT Festival


VAULT Festival is looking for EIGHT proactive, collaborative, and enthusiastic Venue Stage Manager(s) to ensure the smooth running of the VAULT Festival venues throughout the duration of VAULT Festival 2023.

Working closely with FOH Supervisors, the Venue Stage Manager will ensure the experience is smooth for both artists and audiences, resolving any issues in a collaborative way.

The Venue Stage Manager will be responsible for facilitating the turnarounds of 3-4 productions each evening, managing turnarounds between productions, facilitating show set ups, audience seating, and the timings, safety and cleanliness of the venue. They will be on site during specific day times to assist the Stage and Technical teams in providing a friendly and supportive environment for Technical Rehearsals and also operate artist’s shows where required by the artists. During the 7 weeks, they will rotate venues, getting the opportunity to work in a variety of different venues (capacity/layout/style) during their time at the festival.

We think you’ll likely be suitable for the role if you have held one or more of the following roles before:

  • Stage Manager or operator for fringe productions
  • Venue or show Technician
FEE: £4,677.75 (dependent on n/a’s and agreed dates) - averaging 46.5 hours a week
This is a fixed term, freelance, buyout agreement

START DATE: 9th January 2023
END DATE: 17th March 2023
