Academy Assistant, PQA Romford

PQA Romford is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and proactive Academy Assistant to join our growing Saturday academy!

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with young people aged 6-18 and can support our teaching team in creating a fun, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The Role:
- Location: Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls, Romford
- Saturdays, 9:15am-1:00pm
- Pay: £45 per Saturday
- Supporting students across Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & TV sessions.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children and young people, or a genuine interest in doing so.
- Can support teachers with classroom activities, student engagement and behaviour management.
- Is confident, approachable, organised and reliable.
- Has an interest in performing arts and creative education.
- Can capture photos and videos for social media, helping to showcase academy activities and student achievements.
- Is familiar with platforms such as Instagram and enjoys creating engaging content.
- Can work collaboratively within a supportive and creative team.

Previous experience in performing arts, education or youth work is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will be subject to appropriate safeguarding and enhanced DBS checks.
