Job Description
Working with two age groups across the evening, you will create a supportive and inclusive rehearsal environment where every young person feels valued, challenged and able to thrive. Sessions should develop core acting and theatre-making skills while introducing participants to a variety of performance styles, techniques and creative approaches.
You will also evaluate sessions, contribute to the ongoing development of the programme and work closely with the wider CYTO team to ensure a consistently high-quality experience for all participants.

5.15-5.30pm - Break/Act Two briefing

CYTO if fortunate to receive various commissions and additional projects throughout the year. If these occur, we'd discuss the remit of the role and negotiate compensation for additional time-compensation. Have substantial experience working with children aged 6-11yrs in a rehearsal room and/or drama workshop setting.
Have substantial experience planning, delivering and evaluating engaging drama workshops for children.
Be confident adapting activities to meet a range of abilities, learning styles and individual needs.
Be reliable, approachable and a positive, supportive role model for young people.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Hold a current DBS certificate, or be willing to undergo a DBS check and safeguarding training.
