This role involves a variety of administrative and operational tasks that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of Charnwood Arts’ impact.

Job Description

We are growing and are now seeking a motivated and organised part-time Administrator and Marketing Support to join our small team and support the day-to-day operations of Charnwood Arts alongside the Operations and Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to helping us fulfil our mission.

Hours: 8 hours per week (1 day), with potential to increase after 6 months

(hourly fee = £14ph = £5,700 per year)

Job Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role
  • Excellent IT skills in applications such as MS Office and Google Drive, and proficient in using the internet as a resource.

Desirable

  • Experience of using Facebook, Instagram and Mailchimp. Experience of using Adobe InDesign / Photoshop
  • Experience of using Zoom and Teams
  • An interest in the arts would be an advantage, but not essential

  • Competence in multi-tasking and the ability to use own initiative
  • Articulate and able to communicate with written and verbal skills appropriate across a wide range of people.
  • Ability to prioritise own work and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work supportively and collaboratively within a small team
  • Excellent attention to detail and a highly conscientious work ethic

Job Responsibilities

Duties include:

  • Supporting the Office and Operations Manager by collating and evaluating programme data, communications, and stakeholder reports.
  • Assisting in coordinating the practical and domestic arrangements for workshops, courses, and other events as required.
  • Maintain the Charnwood Arts reporting system by adding new participant data and feedback, performing duplicate checks, running reports, etc.
  • Collect and summarise participant data and evaluation materials from various projects.
  • Basic bookkeeping; working with the Operations and Office Manager on some aspects of our finances
