We're seeking two Administrative Assistants to support all areas of the organisation. This role will engage with all users of the building, including participants and artists.

Job Description

Join Fabric, a bold dance development organisation based in Birmingham and Nottingham. We're looking for organised and people-focused Administrative Assistants to support our busy team and vibrant programme of dance events and activities across the Midlands.

You'll provide essential administrative, front-of-house and studio support, helping create a welcoming, safe and professional environment for artists, participants, and audiences. This role plays a vital part in championing access, inclusion, and excellent customer service in all areas of our work.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of one year's experience in an administrative and customer-facing role
  • Experience of providing administrative support & coordination for successful delivery of projects
  • Excellent administration & organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience and interest in working with artists & the public in a customer-facing role
  • Strong IT skills (training will be provided on our systems & software)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across Fabric's programmes - handling enquiries, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Support events, travel and accommodation bookings, and team communications.

  • Help manage Fabric's CRM system, programme diary, and data collection for reports.

  • Assist with marketing tasks including content updates, guest lists, and stock management.

  • Deliver excellent front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and supporting events and studio hires.

  • Coordinate studio bookings and ensure spaces and equipment are ready for use.

  • Act as a first aider and fire marshal (training provided).

  • Support interns, volunteers, and casual staff as required.

  • Uphold Fabric's inclusive values and act as a positive ambassador for the organisation.
