Job Description

We're looking for an organised, hands-on Administrator to keep our organisation running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be part of a small, close-knit and busy team based at Emmanuel Hall in Exeter.

This part-time role would suit someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in keeping things organised, and is happy to roll their sleeves up when needed. Arts experience is welcome but not essential. What matters most is that you're reliable, proactive, and care about the work Alibi does.

Salary ÂŁ28,000 pro rata (20-24 hours/week), starting September 2026

Full details can be found here: https://theatrealibi.co.uk/opportunities/

Job Requirements

You'll have some admin experience and an awareness of building operations, though this doesn't need to be within the arts industry - transferable skills from other sectors are very welcome. You'll be comfortable juggling a varied workload, able to prioritise effectively, and happy to use your initiative when things crop up unexpectedly. Good communication skills are important too, as
you'll be liaising with a range of people including colleagues, contractors, hirers and visitors.

Please see full job description on our website for more details.

Job Responsibilities

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day administration and operations of our building, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to help make sure our facilities run efficiently. You'll also be an important point of contact for building hirers, suppliers and contractors, so clear communication and a friendly, professional manner are essential.

Please see full job description on our website for more details.
