About the Role

As Admissions Team Leader you will oversee undergraduate applications within our Film & Games subject area. In this role, you will manage a team of Admissions Officers, ensuring a seamless admissions process while maintaining excellent customer service. Though you'll specialise in Film & Games, you and your team will be trained across all subject areas and course levels, enabling a collaborative and efficient central admissions team.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the efficient processing of applications and offers, ensuring timely responses to enquiries, interview bookings, and course-related information.
  • Monitor and report on admissions activity, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously enhance the applicant experience by refining processes and workflows.
  • Lead, develop, and support a high-performing team of Admissions Officers, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of student application records.
  • Provide support during key admissions periods, including open days, assessment days, and student enrolment.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leaders to ensure full coverage across subject areas and maintain a smooth admissions cycle.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • A degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in higher education admissions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, particularly during peak admissions periods.
