Art Camp UK is seeking an experienced Camp Manager to lead our creative holiday camps in Leeds and Harrogate This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced environment, working with children aged 5-12. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of camp, managing a team of artists and support staff, and ensuring a safe, structured and engaging experience for all children. You will lead from the front, delivering high-energy morning sessions including group games and activities, alongside more relaxed arts and crafts sessions. Our programme is designed to balance energy and creativity, so you will be confident leading the morning wake up shake up with both lively group activities and calmer, creative sessions across the week. You will act as the main point of contact for staff, children and parents, and liaise directly with the Director to ensure smooth delivery. A key part of the role is maintaining high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management and care. You will be confident handling situations calmly and professionally, making clear decisions, and ensuring all procedures are followed in line with safeguarding and Ofsted expectations. We are looking for someone with strong experience working with children, who is confident managing busy environments and leading teams. You should be organised, reliable, and able to take ownership of your site. An understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted and paediatric first aid is important. Training can be provided for the right candidate. A full driving licence is desirable. Knowledge of paediatric first aid is desirable, although training can be provided. You should be organised, reliable and able to take ownership of your role, with strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. Experience delivering activities, games or creative sessions is important, as you will be leading both high-energy group sessions and occasional calmer arts and crafts mornings. Oversee registers, attendance, incidents and general site organisation, ensuring procedures are followed at all times.
